Custom software

Software that fits around your business

A CRM, a till, a booking system, a database or an app built around the way you work instead of the other way round. The code, the data and the documentation stay yours.

What we build

The system your business runs on

Most businesses run on a package that was thought up for somebody else, with a handful of spreadsheets around it to plug the gaps. This is what we get called about most — and if what you’re after isn’t here, we’ll build that too.

A CRM you actually use

Clients, quotes, jobs and invoices in one place, with exactly the fields your work needs. No subscription per employee, and no tab nobody ever fills in.

A till system for your counter

Payment, stock and turnover in one, with the buttons your staff need instead of the two hundred of a package meant for everyone. And it keeps running when the internet drops out for a moment.

Bookings & reservations

A calendar that knows what is already taken, confirmations and reminders that go out by themselves, and payment up front where that suits your work. Rooms, courts, treatments, dives, tables or engineers — the arithmetic is the same, only the words differ.

The database behind the admin

Clients, orders, stock, hours and documents: searchable, with permissions per employee. Usually this replaces a stack of spreadsheets nobody dares touch any more.

Dashboards & reporting

One screen that pulls the numbers out of the systems they are already in: turnover, stock, hours, outstanding invoices. No more monthly round of exports, and no two people sitting in the same meeting with a different figure.

An app for iPhone and Android

For your clients or for your own people on the floor. Built once, in both app stores. And we’ll say so plainly when a good mobile site gets you the same thing for a fraction of the effort.

Portals and integrations

A place where your clients can look up their own details, quotes or orders themselves — and the integrations that finally get your existing packages talking to each other.

An AI model on your own server

Trained on your documents, reachable by your people, and without anything going outside. That difference counts as soon as client data, contracts or case files are involved.

And more

Some of the things we build

Not a menu but a selection, grouped by where it sits in a business. Almost everything below started with somebody saying “that probably isn’t possible”. If what you’re after isn’t here, that isn’t a no — it just means we haven’t written it down yet.

Why custom software

Off-the-shelf software costs you the way you work

A package thought up for ten thousand businesses at once fits none of those ten thousand completely. You start working around it: an export to a spreadsheet, a second system alongside, an arrangement everyone has to remember. That costs time every week, and it’s exactly the time nobody writes down.

Bespoke turns that round: the software follows how you do it, instead of you adjusting to a menu. It also means less — no fields you never fill in, no modules you pay for and never look at.

And it doesn’t always mean bespoke. If an off-the-shelf package works out cheaper, you’ll hear that from us before anything gets built.

Yours, not ours

You’re not tied to anything

Renting software usually means you leave empty-handed. Here it’s arranged the other way round, and that isn’t a favour — it’s the reason you’d dare call us for something your business is going to run on.

The code is yours

What we write belongs to your project. You get it, with documentation, and without needing us to change anything about it.

Your data too

It sits in your database and comes back out in an ordinary file format. There’s no export button you have to buy off first.

Hosting is a choice

We’re happy to run it on our own servers and keep it up to date. If you want to put it somewhere else, you can — that’s a move, not a break.

How it works

Start small, and you see it happen

There’s deliberately no lead time here: it differs per project, and a made-up promise is worth nothing. What does always hold is that you see it take shape instead of waiting months for it.

01

We look at how it works now

What happens every day, where it gets stuck, and what data is actually going round. Usually half the design comes out of that already.

02

We cut it into pieces

Not one big system all at once, but first the piece you get something out of soonest. That’s also the piece that tells you the most about the rest.

03

You use it while we build

Every piece goes into your real work, not into a demo. That way you steer along the way and never find out at the very end that it should have been different.

04

It hands over to you

With the code and with documentation. If you want us to keep it running and keep building on it, we can — you’re not obliged to.

And the websites?

We still build those, by hand

No page builder, no off-the-shelf theme with forty plugins around it. That’s why these sites load fast, why they work as well on a phone as on a desktop, and why there’s nothing in them that doesn’t need to be.

For a site we choose the platform that suits the project, and you’ll hear which before anything gets built. For bespoke software there is no platform: it’s your own code on your own database, so there’s nothing to get locked into either.

What it costs

You hear what it costs before anything gets built

There is deliberately no price on this site. Two systems that look alike from the outside can be worlds apart in work: the difference is in how much is done by hand today, how many packages it has to talk to, and how many people use it.

With a conversation about what you want to achieve, not a list of features. Then a proposal covering what gets made and what it costs. Nothing starts until that’s right.

Can we build what you have in mind?

Send one sentence about what you’re after. Then you’ll hear whether it can be done, how we’d approach it — and whether you’d be better off with an off-the-shelf package.
